    Full & Equal Conference

    Thurs - Sat
    location_on Minneapolis, MN access_time 11:30AM - 12:15PM
Episcopalians Invited to Commemorate 50 Years of 'Full and Equal Claim' for LGBTQ+ People
    September 3-5
Sheraton Downtown Minneapolis Convention Center and St Mark's Cathedral

At the 65th General Convention in 1976 in Minneapolis, The Episcopal Church adopted a resolution affirming that homosexual people are children of God with a full and equal claim upon the church's love, acceptance, and pastoral concern and care.

Fifty years later, Episcopalians are invited to return to Minneapolis for "Full & Equal: 50 Years in Pursuit of a Promise," a gathering marking that milestone and reflecting on the church's ongoing journey towards LGBTQ+ inclusion.

Register here for the event, which will include worship, workshops, and storytelling celebrating the progress of the last 50 years while renewing the church's commitment to the work that remains.

    Good Courage Farm Celebration

    Saturday at 2PM
    location_on Minneapolis, MN access_time 11:30AM - 12:15PM
Good Courage Farm: An invitation into the abundance of God's Creation

Have you heard that here in ECMN there's such a thing as a farm church? And such a thing as a church farm? Just an hour west of the Twin Cities, out where the Big Woods meets Pothole Prairie country on ancestral Wahpekute land, there is a place where Episcopalians and neighbors of all faiths gather to reconnect the practices of our Christian faith to the land that feeds us? At Good Courage Farm in Hutchinson, you're invited to experience the Sacraments, scripture study, and Sabbath-making through participation in agricultural life and labor. Agrarian Christian life offers us occasions to sing together in a Silo Chapel, to hear the Gospel while pruning grapes, to share Communion bread and wine that we produce ourselves, and to feed our neighbors who hunger with good things, all by God's grace.

If you've never been out to Good Courage, there are several upcoming occasions to come and see what the greening power of the Holy Spirit is up to in rural Minnesota. On any Saturday, you can come out for a Farm Stewards Field Day for faith formation perhaps unlike any you've experienced. Come on your own or gather a group of church friends for a joyful day of prayer, song, and work in the farm's orchards, vineyards and pastures. During the week, you can help harvest raspberries or pack eggs for Casa Maria and First Nations Kitchen. On Saturday, September 12, the farm is celebrating a century with the beautiful old barn that houses our worship and fellowship. Join us for the Barn's 100th Birthday Party: there will be pie, prayer, family fun and tours of the farm.
