Tuesdays (April 28, May 5, May 12, May 19), 6:30 - 8pm
In this series, we’ll explore practices that have sustained Christian communities in other times of empire and apocalypse. In each session, we’ll read Scripture and a reflection from For Such a Time as This: An Emergency Devotional by Hanna Reichel. We’ll sing songs together, learning from the Resistance Singers.
Tuesday April 28: Christian Practices in the Midst of Empire. Tuesday May 5: Deepening Relationships as Community Organizing. Tuesday May 12: What do we do when the world is burning? Please note that this session will be longer (6:30 - 9pm), and will include a public reading of a play. Tuesday May 19: Walking forward from Trauma: Neighboring in the wake of catastrophe.
We recommend purchasing the book but it is not required. A few copies will be available at church for purchase. Register below to save your spot!
