Parish Manager
Job Description
Who we are
Grace Episcopal Church is a new congregation with 200 years of history! Our congregation began as two legacy churches (St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and the Episcopal Church of St. James on the Parkway, both in Minneapolis) that consolidated in 2020. Since that time, we’ve added many new members and have discerned and adopted a new name: Grace. In our mission statement above, you can see that we are people committed to practicing Jesus’ way of love.
Our congregation is on the cusp of a new era. Standing on the strengths of our legacy congregations, we have a commitment to being the ‘public church’ – shifting our orientation from inward focus toward curiosity and partnership with our neighbors, joining in care for the larger context of our city. We seek to be a refuge for all in need of healing and a place where we find courage to practice Jesus’ way of resilient, defiant, embodied, joyful love in our lives beyond church.
We seek a Parish Manager who can build on these strengths and opportunities by building systems that will enable our existing ministries to grow, and by collaborating with our staff and leaders to help our congregation join in God’s work. Find out more about us at https://graceepiscopalmpls.org/ .
